So how large should you go? TVs are measured by their visible screen size - diagonally across the screen from one corner to the other, in inches. All our TVs have a 16:9 ratio so you see
the whole widescreen picture.
We have a great range of sizes from 15in to a huge 70in+ TV screen. The most important thing is to think about the size of the room, in which you'll be watching your chosen TV,
(you wouldn't want to squash a massive screen into a room where space is tight, after all). Just check our handy chart, it'll show the right TV to match the distance you sit from the screen.

Also known as ultra-high definition TV, this is the very latest in TV technology, with 8 million pixels (or picture elements) compared to the 2 million of HDTV so 4KTV delivers pin-sharp pictures with 4 times the detail of 1080P TV. At present there isn't a great deal of 4K viewing content available but look out for models with the Ultra HD 4K version of the Netflix app, which lets you stream Ultra HD content, if you have a subscription. Plus you can upscale your existing Full HD content to near Ultra HD quality - including Blu-ray movies and HDTV programmes.
These great looking TVs are designed in a curved shape that draws you deeper into what you are watching, with a wider field of view and better contrast.
They're regarded as TVs of the future as they really immerse you in what you're watching and you feel you're seeing a wider image than you would with a standard flat screen TV with a near
3D-effect but without the glasses!
Oh and they look really cool, too.
Up to 70% slimmer than previous LCD TVs, so they're great for wall-hanging, these stylish TVs feature the latest LED lighting technology where LED lights (or Light Emitting Diodes) are
positioned around the edges of the TV frame or across the back of the panel.
They produce brighter pictures with unrivalled colours and have a high contrast ratio for crystal clear images. They're just great for watching movies and because they're energy-saving,
they can help reduce your electricity bills too.
Convert your living room to a sports stadium and watch seamlessly smooth, judder-free sports action with near edge-to-edge viewing. Plasma screens have deeper, darker blacks for easy viewing and feature 600 Hz technology so they're fantastic for fast-moving images, giving you super smooth pictures whether you're watching TV, sports, movie action or playing games. They provide a great viewing angle so everyone in the room has a great view. Plasma TVs are available with screens from 43in right up to 60in.

Are you ready for another dimension? The great thing about 3DTV is that you can convert your living room into your very own cinema or sports stadium where images leap out of the screen. You won't just be watching the action; it'll be going on all around you also brilliant when you're playing games. You can watch your existing 2D content on your 3D TV plus on some models you can convert 2D content into 3D.
You'll need a 3D-ready TV, plus a 3D Blu-ray player, or any of the following, 3D home theatre kit, Sky 3D or a web-enabled PS3/PS4 console. Plus 3D glasses which need to be the same brand as your 3DTV. There are two types of 3DTV and 2 types of glasses - active or passive. They both provide a great 3D experience using slightly different technology.
Active 3D glasses rapidly blink each lens off and on to give you full high definition 3DTV. Charging them up is easy – just use the USB input on your TV or laptop for up to 40 hours use.
Passive 3D glasses have polarised lenses to separate the images on screen, leaving your brain to do the rest. They're really light and comfortable to wear – you don't even need batteries.
