Glory Glory Man United!
If last season could be summed up in a word for Manchester United, that word would be 'progress'. While the Red Devils didn't exactly set the Premier League alight, a good run in the cup and qualification for European football gave fans something to get excited about, while victories over rival teams such as Liverpool and Arsenal gave Utd supporters some much needed bragging rights. United's style of football under head coach Louis van Gaal was criticised by many at the start of the season, but things improved as the campaign went on as the Red Devils found their style and started to play with a bit more of a swagger.
The emergence of a talented young strike force has given Manchester United supporters hope for the future. Mega money signing Anthony Martial, who many have likened to the next Thierry Henry, showed signs that he will soon justify his massive price tag and may yet go on to become one of the world's greatest players. Joining Martial up front is another exciting prospect in the form of home grown talent Marcus Rashford. Rashford made an immediate and explosive impact, scoring two goals on his club debut in a Europa League match, followed by another two in his Premier League debut against Arsenal. If these two can kick on and reach their full potential under the guidance of a new manager, United could end up having the most feared strike force in Premier League history!
