The first open world Legend of Zelda game invites you to step into a world of discovery, exploration and excitement.Take on the role of Link, who awakens from a 100-year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat Calamity Ganon. Set in the wilds of Hyrule, you can explore the vast world around you any way you like using the Joy-Con controller.
Climb up towers and mountain peaks in search of new destinations, then set your own path to get there. Along the way, you'll battle towering enemies, hunt wild beasts and gather ingredients for the food and elixirs you'll need to sustain you on your journey.
There are more than 100 Shrines of Trials to discover and explore across the landscape. You can search for them in various ways, and solve a variety of puzzles inside. Work your way through them to earn special items and other rewards that will help you on your adventure.
The world is inhabited with enemies of all shapes and sizes. Each one has its own attack method and weaponry, so you must think quickly and develop the right strategies to defeat them.
You can acquire outfits and gear to suit all occasions along the way, including items that make you faster or stealthier. You may need to bundle up with warmer clothes or change into something better suited to the desert heat.
