About our charity work
Our partnership with Breast Cancer Ireland
As part of our three-year partnership with Breast Cancer Ireland, we're collaborating as the title sponsor of the renamed Very Pink Run.
At Very, we've been on a mission to make a difference at the heart of Irish communities for over 45 years. Our official charity partnership with Breast Cancer Ireland and the sponsorship of the annual Very Pink Run event is highlighting the important work they do locally here in Ireland.
One in seven women and one in 728 men develop breast cancer during their lifetime, so we know that the important work Breast Cancer Ireland does will touch many of our customers, colleagues, and their families during their lifetime.
This is our 2nd year of our 3-year sponsorship with Breast Cancer Ireland and the Very Pink Run.
This year the Very Pink Run 2024 campaign has raised over €600,000 in fundraising and over €7.2million to date!
We welcomed nearly 10,000 people at the Very Pink Run this year, with over 97,000 taken part to date in person and virtually.
By contributing to the Very Pink Run, we help to foster awareness, promote education and raise vital funds that drive research and innovation in cancer treatment.
Our greatest goal
By increasing awareness and raising vital funds for the life-saving research and breast health education provided by Breast Cancer Ireland, we can help fulfil the ultimate goal of transforming breast cancer into a treatable illness that can be maintained long term.
