The Thrustmaster GT Wheel Add-On is the next-generation evolution of the iconic Gran Turismo wheel rim, designed for expert-level sim racers seeking premium control and realism. Officially licensed by Gran Turismo and Sony, the wheel was developed in collaboration with Polyphony Digital to deliver authentic GT-style driving across all car categories and racing scenarios. It adopts Thrustmaster's new next-gen Quick Release system, giving it native compatibility with the T818 and T598 Direct Drive wheel bases without requiring an adapter, ensuring a seamless and uncompromised racing experience on PS5, PS4 and PC. Its 28-cm round rim is wrapped in fine, smooth-textured leather that provides a comfortable, high-end grip inspired by real sports car steering wheels. The stitching and finish deliver a refined feel that supports precision, drifting and long racing sessions. The wheel is equipped with four metal rotary encoders featuring integrated push-buttons, offering a total of 12 instantly accessible controls for real-time adjustments such as traction control, brake bias, fuel mix or torque settings. These functions are automatically mapped in Gran Turismo and fully customizable on PC. Two responsive mini-sticks allow quick navigation and precise input, while the metal paddle shifters deliver smooth, clean gear changes that enhance immersion.
