The Next Gen Microsoft Gaming Console
The latest console from Microsoft, the Xbox Series X, is without doubt the most powerful Xbox yet.
The design is slightly blockier than what we're used to from the previous video game console designs, with its block tower looking more like a gaming PC than a home console, but the performance features we loved from the Xbox One have been further improved to provide an excellent gaming experience.
Backwards compatibility is a big feature for the Xbox Series X, so you can play your older games on your new console if you wish.
Xbox Series X Tech Specs & Features
Microsoft made some big claims about the Xbox Series X, but they've been able to back them up with some serious specs.
The Xbox Series X runs an 8 Core at 3.8 GHz (3.6 GHz w/ SMT) Custom Zen 2 CPU, features 16GB GDDR6 of RAM and also boasts a 1TB custom NVMe SSD for lightening fast storage. Certain games can also make use of the powerful CPU and GPU to run at 8K.
All of these features make the Xbox Series X twice as powerful as the Xbox One X, and crown it with the title of the most powerful console currently on the market.
The Best Xbox Series X Games
The Xbox has always been well-known for its wide choice of games, with everything from action and adventure to family friendly games available. The Series X is no different, with popular first-party games such as Halo and Hellblade available, along with Madden, Fable, NBA, Assasins Creed and many more available, so there's something for everyone here at Very Ireland.
